Privacy Policy

We keep this short and in plain English. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
Your email address and name, provided when you sign in through Clerk, our authentication provider. The Etsy listing URLs you submit — each with its Visibility Score and the time you ran it — stored in our database to enforce free-tier limits. Payment information is processed entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
How we use it
We use your information to provide the listing analysis service, to enforce usage limits on the free tier, and to process your subscription (Stripe handles all payment processing). We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties except as required to run the service: Clerk for authentication, Stripe for payments, Anthropic for AI analysis, Firecrawl for reading public listing pages, Neon for our database, Upstash for rate limiting, and PostHog for product analytics.
Cookies & analytics
We use PostHog to understand how the product is used. It sets cookies and stores a small amount of data in your browser (localStorage), and records product-usage events — page views and when you leave a page — so we can see which parts of ShopFix help and which don't. We don't use this to track you across other websites, and there are no dark patterns.
Data retention
We keep a record of the listings you've checked — the URL, its score, and when — to enforce usage limits. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us at hello@shopfix.io.
Etsy listing data
We only read publicly accessible Etsy listing pages. We do not store or redistribute raw Etsy listing content beyond what's needed to show you your results. ShopFix is not affiliated with or endorsed by Etsy, Inc.
